The Tarka trail has lots of interesting features on the way. You follow along an estuary, salt marshes, high up overlooking a river, through some woodland, over some old bridges, passed old railway buildings and through a couple of tunnels.

A muddy estuary - the tide was out:

A strange man, at Instow, trying to abduct Pikachu and sell him to Pokemon slave traders...

At least I took my helmet and hi-vis jacket off for this picture. (In case you're wondering, it was taken using a timer.)

A massive weir near Torrington. Do you know what a weir does?

And finally... the long scarey tunnel. I think it's about 200m long, and quite dark.
